Personal site of Petr Vágner

Hello, I'm Petr Vágner and I work in EMPIT as a physicist developing models for in-direct detection of pipeline corrosion.

Previously, I worked as a postdoc at Weierstrass Institute with Jürgen Fuhrmann where I investigated models of active interfaces in perovskite solar cells and solid oxide cells. This was done in collaboration with Karel Bouzek's high-temperature lab at the University of Chemistry and Technology. In my research, I developed, numerically solved, tested, and fitted mathematical models (PDEs) of electrochemical systems.

I also worked as a researcher at Charles University with Michal Pavelka on the GENERIC formulations of mixture theories for charged species.
